The World Day of Prayer for Children at Risk is observed annually on the last Sabbath of May, focusing on the plight of thousands of vulnerable children worldwide experiencing abuse, neglect, and trafficking. These children need protection and support to fully harness their God-given talents, and they rely on our prayers.
Churches are encouraged to empower all members, especially children and teenagers, to pray for these at-risk youth, fostering awareness and involvement in alleviating their suffering. Each year, the VIVA organization creates a special prayer package that includes activity ideas and worship events for all ages. This resource is available in multiple languages and can be downloaded from their website: www.viva.org/.
